LA. Workout was founded in 1989 by Bob Voit, with the idea that fitness should be a way of life. The first Camarillo location was acquired by Jim Brewer, President. Jim created a revolutionary product to make a difference in peoples lives. He created an organization that believes our members should receive excellent customer service, a convenient experience in the cleanest environment we can possibly provide. Due to the success of our Camarillo-East location, in 1997 L.A. Workout opened its second location on the west side of Camarillo.

L.A. Workout is locally owned and operated, which is what makes us different. L.A.Workout believes in giving back to the community and has worked with many local charities to raise money through donations, fundraisers and toy drives with the idea of making a difference in peoples lives.

LA Workout has re-dedicated itself to create the All New LA Workout. In our course to provide excellence we began our club remodel. The clubs received a fresh new look, new kick boxing bag classes, new Star Trac Indoor cycling bikes, a Cardio Movie Theatre, new fitness equipment and a kids in motion program. LA Workout also launched a new interactive website so our members can go online to get daily nutrition plans and fitness programs. These tools are geared to help our members stay on course to achieve their fitness goals.

The All New LA. Workout has plans to open several new locations in the next few years so we can bring the LA Workout concept into other areas of the neighboring communities.
