The podiatric surgeons of American Health Network strive to provide excellence in comprehensive foot and ankle care. The surgeons in our group are all board certified or qualified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and have trained at some of the nation's top podiatric surgical programs. Our members have also completed subspecialty fellowship training so we can offer our patients the most advanced techniques and services.
The American Health Network group of physicians has locations throughout central Indiana. Our foot and ankle specialists provide services at many of these locations as well as hospitals and surgical facilities. Many patients are referred by our primary care partners, but referrals from physicians outside American Health Network are always welcome. We are often consulted by our fellow podiatrists and orthopedic colleagues for more complex and revision procedures. Providing services at numerous locations makes us more accessible for patients from many communities in central Indiana.
Because of our uniquely qualified group, we sponsor a reconstructive foot and ankle surgical fellowship training program. Each year we select a well-trained podiatric surgeon who has completed a surgical residency program to work with our group. The fellowship experience offers a higher level of training and helps maintain the ongoing academic focus of our surgeons. The number of procedures performed by our group, especially the complex and revision procedures, provides excellent education for our fellow and enhances our ability to provide the highest level of care for our patients.
