GNM Woodworx is well on its way to becoming â?oYour One-Stop Remodel Shop!â?
Mark and Gina Penton, owners of GNM Woodworx says â?oWe can do just about anything!â?. They
offer custom built cabinets and doors, general carpentry, crown, trim, and cabinet re-facing with
wood veneer, laminate or hard wood. They also excel in custom carpentry, computerized interior
design, flooring, various types of countertops, tile, decorative and accent lighting.
Mark and Gina Penton grew up here in Midwest City. Although Mark has been a Carpenter for 20
years they have been in the re-face business for over five years now. They had been
subcontracting for Sears Home Improvement installing windows, prefabricated cabinets and doing
partial remodels as well as cabinet re-facing, plumbing, and lighting.
Cabinet refacing changes the color, look and style of the cabinets with out gutting the kitchen
and starting over. A re-face takes much less time to complete than new cabinets, costs
significantly less and the inconvenience is minimal in comparison. A typical cabinet re-face
includes: new doors with European hidden adjustable hinges, new drawer fronts, new drawer boxes
with side glides, face frames refaced to match the doors of your choice, crown molding and
additional trim. They also use this same concept to refinish bathrooms and tile work.
The Pentonâ?Ts work together on residential, commercial, partial and complete re-models, custom
builds, portable buildings, room additions, garage conversions and decks. One of the projects
they recently completed is the interior of the brand new Panera Bread on 29th Street in Midwest
City as well as Superintending the build of the Brand New Panera Bread in Tulsa last year. They
have also remodeled one in Norman on Main & the Panera Bread on Northwest Expressway. In
addition they then remodeled the Panera Bread in Springfield, MO.
Mark Penton is a very talented third generation carpenter that had his own heating and air
company for twelve years. During that time he also subcontracted with Sears working on their
heating and air conditioning systems. After becoming allergic to insulation, he fell back on his
carpentry roots. Gina Penton spent four years in the Navy re-pairing computers then went on to
Rose State College for accounting and worked for years in the automotive industry as a Cost
Analyst. She has really found her niche in designing kitchens on a given budget and managing the
business.
Utilizing both Mark and Ginaâ?Ts talents, the results have been amazing! Although they design
and build custom kitchens, their thought is -- if the structure of the existing cabinets is strong and
the layout is great why spend the money replacing them? Re-face em!
