We offer several types of private lessons to suit all needs. All of our lessons include the road test required to obtain on Arizona driver's license. We pick up and drop off our students at their home, school or work and offer lessons 7 days a week. We use mid-sized sedans equipped with a passenger-side brake, required by the state of Arizona.
Teen Program: This program includes an 8 hour classroom session with two 3 hour behind the wheel sessions following within the next few weeks after the classroom session. Students in this program will be paired up with another student for the behind the wheel portion. Since there are only 3 hours total of driving and 3 hours total of observation, students are expected to already be "traffic ready" for this program. Due to program location, students need to attend or live around the following high schools to participate in the Teen Program: Tolleson, West View, Copper Canyon, Aqua Fria, Millenium, Buckeye Union, Estrella Foothills, Desert Edge, Dysart, Valley Vista, Verrado, Raymond S. Kellis, Willow Canyon and Yougkers. The classroom is taught once a month, typically on the first Saturday of every month.
$235 (does not include MVD fees)
6 Hour Private Lesson: This is for individuals who have some driving experience. First lesson will cover city streets, intersections and defensive skills. Second lesson will cover highway driving, parallel parking and downtown Phoenix one way streets. Instructors will pick up students valley-wide. 2 sessions, 3 hours each.
$335 (does not include MVD fees)
8 Hour Private Lesson: This is for new drivers with little to no experience behind the wheel. Similar to the 6 hour lesson, there is an additional day of 2 hours where the student will start off in a parking lot or residential area with the basics at the very beginning. Instructors will pick up students valley-wide. 3 sessions 2 hours, 3 hours and 3 hours.
$435 (does not include MVD fees)
Anyone taking private lessons is welcome to attend one of our classroom sessions free of charge.
This is not required to obtain a driver's license. Permit exam is given during the 8 hour classroom for those who need a permit for the first time, or need to renew an expired one.
