I've been working on computers for 11 years, and have been on my own for the last 4. I do most of my work remotely, which greatly reduces the inconvenience of being without a computer, or have some strange guy in your house :-).

My rates are $60/hr for home users and $80/hr for businesses. I try to keep my overall bills reasonable to the task at hand, and am not out to run up bills. I have a general rule of not charging more than 3 hours for computer cleanups / virus removals, and the majority of those fall in the 1.5 - 2 hour range.

I tend to not answer my phone, since I am a one man operation, but listen to my messages often and generally call back pretty quickly.

I am available for Personal Shopping, and my hourly rates apply to that, unless some follow-up setup work is involved, and then I would generally waive the research time.
