building is much warmer and dryer, and the heat is much more uniform
and dependable. You planned the job very well and carried out your

When I decided to install a radiant floor hydronic heating system in my new house, I called Gravener Heating. Their web site advertised experience and expertise, and after a conversation with Gary Gravener, I had the feeling they were the right shop for the job. Although this was high season (November) for Gravener, he scheduled me to begin the job within ten days.
On the appointed day, the crew showed up and began installing the system. In a few days the system was installed and crew had done its work with great care and neatness. Gary opened the valves to the heating loops and the hot water began to circulate. With the thermostat set, the tubes heated up the floors and room temperatures rose. In a few hours, the radiant floors produced enough heat to keep the house comfortable. I haven't touched the thermostats since. The system has performed flawlessly and efficiently, while operating very quietly. Gary's men had done a great job.

Gravener Heating has been a blessing to our church. After years of problems with a very old system with one steam boiler, Gary Gravener designed a more efficient system using two hot water boilers and one steam boiler. He also redesigned the church from a single heating zone to a five heating zone system. We had other companies give us bids and Gravener Heating gave us the most reduction in our gas usage. Northminster Presbyterian Church is almost one hundred years old. The steam piping was very old and Gravener did an excellent job replacing the pipes and re-fitting the radiators for hot water.

Gary and his men respected the building daily as they worked. They protected the carpet and always cleaned up any debris. They were always kind and considerate to all the people. The job was done on time and Gary was always available if we had any questions.

Thanks to Gravener Heating our church is now warm and our gas bills are much lower.

For over 45 years I have lived in a 1&1/2 story hot box. I was always told I could not have air conditioning since I had hot water heat. Well, you changed all of that and installed a system with flexible ducts and ceiling diffusers.

Your crew, especially Pauly, was very confident in their work and also very courteous. He treated my house like it was his own, with a minimum of mess and cleanup.

You are very lucky to have such an employee like Pauly. Because of him I would recommend your company to anyone, anytime, anywhere.

Your rates were also reasonable compared to other companies that bid on our job.

Now for the Bryant A/C: I know you can't just look at a snap shot in time to see the reduction in electricity usage because many factors affect that usage. However, when I compare the summer period from July 14, 2006 thru September 13, 2006 with the same period from 2005, my average daily electricity consumption (per my Penn Power bill) had decreased approximately 50% during that 2 month period while the average temperature was only 1 degree less (approximately 1.5% lower). In addition, the outside unit compared to recent units installed by neighbors, is significantly quieter when running. Needless to say, we are happy with our decision to install the higher efficiency Bryant unit.

Were quite pleased with the Trane system we purchased. The installation was well done and everything is running fine. The air conditioning runs a lot less than the old system, with far better results. We are especially pleased with the new air cleaner; it has made a huge difference.

The adjustments you made to the internal ducts also made quite a difference on the second floor. We have had a very comfortable house all summer its been great.

Its still a little early to really gauge the power savings, related to the new high-efficiency components, but we will review the electric bills once we get through the remaining hot weather. Ill be most interested to see the difference this new system makes this winter.

See you at the scheduled time for the official commissioning and check out of the furnace this fall. It has been 16 years now, and youve always been available when weve needed your services. We truly appreciate your commitment to our satisfaction.

Gravener Heating installed heating and air conditioning in four separate commercial rental units in a freshly restored historic building located in Bradford Woods Borough.

Gary Gravener did all of the HVAC engineering, drawings, and sizing for each unit to suit the tenants requirements. In addition to the price of the complete job being very competitive, the service and the quality of the workmanship was excellent. Gravener Heating personnel were prompt, courteous, and had great work standards. The companys in-house sheet metal fabrication facility added to the promptness of material delivery and also reflected in the cost-effectiveness of the total installation. And any service-related issues were addressed promptly and personally, no matter the time of day or night.

Gravener Heating prides itself on a trained staff with friendly personnel.

We were unfamiliar with the company prior to the start of this project, but we became friends by the completion, and thats a great feeling to us as property owners.
