Quality Vendors: Finding the right vendor is often times a very time consuming process. Love Marks the Spot has developed a strong network of quality vendors within the wedding industry. We'll work with you to find the right vendors within your budget to help build your wedding dream team. Although we only suggest vendors that we've worked with and had successful, cordial experiences in the past, we are open to all vendor considerations.
Creativity + Inspiration: Whether you've had a Pinterest wedding board even before you were engaged or you're completely overwhelmed by wedding planning, we can help come up with special touches that are sure to add a personal touch to your wedding. About the Planner...
One of the most frequently asked questions I get from couples is "What made you decide to become a wedding planner?" The short answer is that I love love, and I love weddings. The extended answer is because I love everything about the wedding planning process. I have the best job in the world. I get to become friends with my clients, and meet new and inspiring vendors all the time. Being a wedding planner means that my job is never stagnant. I'm always meeting new people and learning ways to improve the planning process for my clients. The first time I knew that wedding planners existed (probably like many people) was when I saw the movie The Wedding Planner. I was only 15 at the time, but the seed was planted. Years later, wedding planning was still on my mind and I decided to take a leap of faith and start my own business.
Aside from marrying my husband, starting Love Marks the Spot has been the best decision I've ever made in my life. I love my clients (past and present, you guys seriously rock!) and the bond we form throughout the planning process. Hearing people tell me that they're thankful for my help means everything to me and reinforces that I'm doing exactly what I was meant to do.
A little about me:
I'm a Seattle native - we moved to San Diego in 2008 (wow, has it really been that long!?) after my husband was stationed here with the Navy. Since I've moved here, I've fallen in love with boogie boarding, pilates and farmer's markets. If I'm not doing anything wedding related, you can find me cooking or reading. I'm going to toot my own horn for a moment and brag that I'm a wonderful cook. My husband will vouch for that;) I consider myself to be a highly productive person and almost never "relax". I'm always doing something.
