National Karate Academy of Martial Arts has been training students to achieve excellence since 1973. Men, women and children develop strength in the body, honesty in the heart and true mental confidence through the dedicated practice of National Karate martial arts.
Our curriculum helps youth build focus, self-esteem and leadership skills. Adults are empowered in their fitness goals while learning self-defense. Whether a preschool child needs to begin improving social skills or a teen dreams of success at national competitions our professional black belt instructors will help students achieve those goals.
Christa Jordahl, the Executive Director of National Karate Albertville, St. Cloud and Sartell, and Albertville National Karate's Master Instructor, was the NASKA 2009 World Champion in women's lightweight point sparring, and she holds multiple regional and national championships in both form and sparring. She believes that being a karate student taught her discipline and focus as well as building strength and coordination.
Ms. Jordahl says, "The mental and emotional benefits of karate added to the physical skills I achieved and helped me to become a successful and competent adult. I continue to study hard to refine my own knowledge of the sport of karate so I can be a better teacher. My goal is to pass those benefits on to my students."
