Dales' Barkdust was established in 1947 by Dale Cummings after he returned from WWII. For 68 years Dales' barkdust has been serving the Portland metro area with barkdust and landscaping material.Dale chose to remain a small company to insure hands on, personal contract with customers and suppliers. Dale retired a few years ago and he was adamant that this same philosophy be carried on.Today, David and Betty Thompson continue to do business by providing the same personal service from the initial phone order through the completion of the delivery.
