Ive been in the industry for over 13 years and work daily as a freight broker agent. I can tell you and anyone who reads this to not sign into an online school. Theres to many out there now who have and do not move freight but only want to train. Im willing to help anyone and guide you in the right direction. you can learn on your own and it will cost you much less than a training course thats being offered. Also if you see a firm offering agent positions that also offer paid training courses this is a good sign to stay away. those of us who actually move freight daily understand that networking together is an important factor to our success. Moving freight is not that difficult to do but the important factor is the quality of freight and the consistency of your freight.
