OVER $300 MILLION in closed sales
# 1 broker since 1985 on North Shore Kauai
# 1 broker on entire Island of Kauai, every year since 2009
Following his heart and his passion for surfing, farming and building, Neal arrived and settled on Kauai's North Shore more than 30 years ago. Realizing quickly after his arrival that he had discovered his paradise, he made the decision this was where his home and future would reside.
Planting more than his own roots, and his love for building, and land visioning, Neal developed a passion and love for organic farming and founded Kauai Organic Farms and Hawaii Naturals (a well-known national company.) As CEO of both companies, Neal grew them into successful enterprises and became one of Hawaii's largest producers of organic products and produce. At that point in Neal's life, he met his beautiful wife Melissa, who is the mother of his three children, Max, Wyatt and Koa and his constant guiding light. Neal is grateful for the wonderful life he gets to enjoy everyday on Kauai and is a strong believer in giving back. In fact, Neal and his team are involved in over 25 local, regional, national and international philanthropic causes ranging from the Kauai Community Arts Program and the Kilauea Point Natural History Association to the Natural Resource Defense Council, Greenpeace, and SurfAid International.
While building the number one real estate company (Koa Properties) and creating projects with sustainability, aesthetic and functional value, Neal built strong relationships with Kauai's county officials, world-class architects, contractors, the building trades and everyone in between. These relationships combined with his unique skill sets acquired from years of envisioning, planning, developing, and building property in America and Kauai became a true advantage for his financial partners and buyers and sellers which set Neal apart from every other realtor and developer on Kauai. In the summer of 2011 Neal sold his beloved Koa Properties to "Hawaii Life" and that is where he hangs his license today.
Neal has built some of the most amazing luxury homes on the island and across the United States, has sold to some of the most discerning and high profile clients and to this day has the record setting price paid for a single family estate that he created from raw dirt to completion. Neal has also developed the first organically certified subdivision on Kauai and has been lead developer of many other spectacular land developments on the garden island of Kauai.
What's more, Neal has cared for Kauai's aina by planting thousands of trees for the benefit of future generations and serving on agriculture boards and committees so that farmers would be able to develop improved and reliable organic standards. Neal has also put his energy into developing meaningful and legacy properties that will be enjoyed by generations and generations.
