MassCEO provides education, outreach and promotional efforts to create an environment in the Commonwealth which will expand and enhance employee involvement and ownership. MassCEO was created to increase employee productivity, happiness, and wealth in Massachusetts by increasing employee ownership. Studies have proven a strong link between employee ownership and employee wellbeing. Increasing employee ownership in Massachusetts will also strengthen our Commonwealth's economy. Employee owned businesses are more resilient, more cohesive, and more equitable than traditionally structured businesses. By increasing access to employee ownership, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is helping to create a healthier and more cooperative form of capitalism.
