The Whole Herd is a trusted, highly reliable vendor of sexed semen for a wide range of cattle farms and ranches.  This marketing avenue sets solidly on experience gained by collecting, grading and freezing Simmental bull semen and strict handling and shipping procedures.  Our customers expect high quality beef cattle semen from the best bulls and they can rely on us to fulfill those expectations    Driven by our desire to augment the major beef breeds and the show calf industry, we strive to offer an unbiased evaluation and description of sires and their Simmental semen plus the products they require to successfully mate and breed their cowherd. Most of our customers never get to visually evaluate AI sires or the progeny by these sires and mistakes are made by selections from photos.  We make the effort to visually examine or rely on select individuals who are honest and reliable in their evaluation, so we can arm breeders with substance and knowledge.  In this way, we seek to forge strong, long-lasting, mutually beneficial bonds with our customers - setting us apart from most competitors. Empowered with more than four decades of experience in the industry breeding registered herds, with multiple breeds, we understand the difficulties producing and maintaining consistent, quality cattle. With this rich history of developing breeds of cattle through proactive but sound sire selection, we constantly seek, assemble and maintain an inventory of currently significant sexed semen for progressive herds.  In addition, we also maintain an inventory of proven sires from the recent past. Semen from these bulls offer substantial genetic progress, however decreased demand allows moderate pricing in volume.
