We had a lovely time here on your mountain. The place is wonderful - well-stocked, clean and very well set up. It is nice to have the big TV and DVD player. We almost made it through the 3rd Season of House of Cards. The hot tub was a pleasure - only missed one day due to rain. We did a daily hike down to the mountain lake with the dogs, and one day on Skyline Drive where we saw white-tail deer and hawks. Saw hawks here at the cabin too. Spent a little time in Front Royal - nice lunch at J's Gourmet on South Royal Avenue (across from the bookstore) where there is also a local wine shop, upstairs a tiny restaurant that looked interesting call Apt. 26. We'd have tried it if we had more time. Our "highlight" was a trip to The Inn at Little Washington. We'd talked about it before coming and spent Christmas Eve having one of the best meals we've ever eaten. Thanks Tom and Deneane. We'll be back!!!
