Located on the west side of Houston, Lakeside Animal Clinic is a full service companion animal hospital. It is our commitment to provide the highest quality veterinary care in a fun, friendly atmosphere for the life of your pet. Our services and facilities are designed to assist in routine preventive care for young, healthy pets; early detection and treatment of disease as your pet ages; and complete medical and surgical care as necessary during his or her lifetime.

Lakeside Animal Clinic is a full-service small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care since 1977, When Dr. Michael McCann established the clinic.
In September 2007, Dr. McCann retired, and the clinic was purchased by Dr. Randy Wiltshire. Dr. Wiltshire is a 2002 graduate of Texas A&M University, and he worked for five years on the north side of Houston after graduation. Dr. Wiltshire is excited about the opportunity to take over such a vibrant and growing practice with such loyal clients.
We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local practices when special diagnostic procedures are required. The facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, in-hospital surgery suite, in-house x-ray and ultrasound capabilities, a closely supervised hospitalization area, and indoor boarding kennels with outdoor exercise areas.
Dr. Wiltshire believes that client education, preventive care, and early detection of disease are the cornerstones to successful animal health care. He also believes that veterinary services can be state-of-the-art without being overly expensive. At Lakeside Animal Clinic we strive to offer not only top of the line veterinary care, but also sound preventive medicine advice, thus allowing you the enjoyment of your companion for many years. Our job is not only to treat your pet when he or she isn't feeling well, but also to help you learn how to keep your best friend happy and healthy for years to come.
