Using the Guest network, a user can allow visitors to access the network and at the same time keep them away from accessing other personal files and documents. Nearby users can access the network without using a Wi-fi password. By default, the Guest Network is disabled for your Netgear router. A user can enable as well as configure it using the routerlogin.net interface. A user can assign a Guest network to either of the frequency bands i.e 2.4GHz or 5GHz band.
