Tom Wiesen is a lifelong boater, driving a boat to work odd jobs at homes around the lake at age 7. With his own money, he bought his first boat at age 10. He refinished an entire wood boat at age 11. Was a competition ski boat driver at age 10 for jumping, slalom, and trick skiing. Tom grew up sailing small boats and catamarans on inland lakes and Lake Michigan. Later in life Tom became a class V whitewater kayaker. Now he splits his time between boating in the seas of the Philippines and the lakes in Northern Michigan.
