Acupuncture is a method for treating conditions of the body using very fine needles in strategic places to effect results. Acupuncture treatements are based upon a Chinese Medical theory of diagnosis. This diagnostic system identifies a collection of symptoms representing conditions of disease (called Patterns) rather than Western diagnoses of individual diseases.

Michael Forman, DOM is a graduate of the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine and is Nationally board certified in both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal medicine. He is also a Diplomat of Oriental Medicine of the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (the highest certification).

Michael has been involved in the healing arts for many years and has studied under several outstanding and prestigious physicians in the course of his learning and development. He brings a unique combination of competence combined with a loving touch that helps his patients realize their full health potential.

As an Acupuncture Physician, he specializes in anxiety, insomnia, depression, emotional imbalance and related conditions and has helped many patients find relief where they otherwise were unable.
