Dr Scharf is the premier periodontist on Long Island. He treats gum disease with a laser and places dental implants on Long Island. He was voted "Best Dentist on Long Island for 2010, '11, '12, '13 &14.  He was the first Long Island Periodontist certified in LANAP and one of the first to offer the pin hole gum rejuvenation technique.
