The North Carolina based immigration lawyers of Allen & Pinnix, P.A., located in downtown Raleigh, have practiced immigration law for over 35 years and have represented thousands of individuals in immigration matters from family to employment based immigration, U.S. citizenship/naturalization and in deportation and removal proceedings. After earning Bachelors and Masters degrees in History at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, John L. Pinnix attained his law degree (JD) from the Wake Forest University School of Law. Known as "Jack", Pinnix served as national President of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). Additionally, he is a founding member, and a two term Chair, of the Carolinas Chapter of AILA.
